Sabha Pokhari Hydropower Limited (SPHPL) is a public limited company incorporated on May 23, 2007, with the primary objective of developing hydropower projects in Nepal under the "BOOT" (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) model.
Promoted by individual investors, SPHPL is currently developing the Lankhuwa Khola Hydroelectric Project (LKHP). Located in the Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality of the Sankhuwasabha District, this 5MW run-of-river project is designed to utilize the available head and natural flow of the Lankhuwa Khola—a major tributary of the Sabhapokhari Khola—to generate an estimated 29.17 GWh of clean energy annually.
